Ajay Kumar Singh is a Certified Port Executive and Certified Corporate Director with over 28 years of experience in terminals, shipping and ocean transport industry, with having P/L responsibility and having diverse experience in business development, marketing & project management. He has a unique blend of management experience, an understanding of processes along with an overview of business realities and a grip over systems design along with an eye for the real need for solutions.
Over the past 20 years, his managerial responsibilities have spanned every level, from small regions to headquarters. He has gained wide cross-cultural experience, working in countries as Africa, U.K, Gulf, India and North America. Before Joining MIP , Mr. Singh was CEO for DP World Sokhna were he created an ecosystem for North Africa , Red Sea & Egyptian Business , prior to that he was CEO & Executive Director for DP World Nhava Sheva & DP Intermodal . Before joining DP World Mr. Singh was Chief Commercial Officer, for Halterm Container Terminal ( A Macquarie Infrastructure owned Terminal) in Halifax Canada. Mr. Singh played very crucial role in Turning around APM Terminal Pipavav business and later stock listing it in Bombay Stock exchange.
Ajay Kumar Singh is a highly accomplished executive with a successful record of improving business results through productivity enhancements and elimination of waste. This has been accomplished through matching internal performance drivers with customer service level. Having a degree in Master of Business Management in International Trade from London Business school which has subsequently augmented with a Post graduate diploma is Shipping and Export Management.

Javier Lozano, who is originally from Mexico, joins the MIP team as CFO. He graduated from the Monterrey Institute of Technology and holds a bachelor’s degree in Electronic Systems and Computer Science. Javier brings with him 25 years of management experience developed in the Financial Industry at Global Companies in different sectors such as Construction, FMCG and Ports and different geographies in the Americas and Asia.
Javier comes to MIP with functional experience in Business transformation management, focused on change management and high complexity across the whole business. He has developed as Commercial Finance business partner and delivered top line growth and cost reduction initiatives. He has experience in Marketing & Operations Finance, Risk Management, Strategic Business Planning, Business Development, Project Management and excellent problem-solving skills where swiftly identifies the roots and develops effective solutions.
Bee Teng Tan started her career as a shift Operations Executive in PSA Singapore Terminals. Over the last 15 years, she has worked in various Logistics projects across different countries including Rwanda and India. Before joining MIP, she was heading a regional role in Transformation and Data. She has a keen interest in data and technology to enhance business processes and productivty. She is also a strong believer in teamwork to deliver the optimum results.
Kerem Kavrar, who has over 20 years of experience in the maritime and logistics sector, worked as a manager in leading companies in the sector before joining Mersin International Port. He has experience in ship brokerage and chartering, maritime transportation, freight brokerage, supply chain and warehouse management.
Kerem Kavrar joined the Mersin International Port team in 2010, serving from 2010 to 2013 as the CFS Manager in the operations department. He subsequently spent five years as the Sales and Marketing Manager in the commercial department until taking on the role of Trade Group Manager in 2018. Kerem Kavrar holds a master's degree in logistics management in addition to a bachelor's degree in marketing with a focus in business administration. Since 2019, he has been on the Logistics department advisory board at Çağ University, which prepares young, skilled workers for the industry.
Çağdaş Çetinkaya graduated from Bilkent University, Department of Economics. Starting his career in a Logistics company in Mersin Free Zone, Jan 2004, and joined in 2005 P&O Nedlloyd and had a role of North America shipments coordinator in Mersin local agent. After having some experiences in Logistics and Shipping, started in PSA&Akfen joint venture company before privatization in 2006 and had responsibilities in takeover Project of Mersin Port.
Çağdaş Çetinkaya started to work as Shift Operations Executive after takeover of Mersin Port and continued to work in various units under Operations Management until today. He is serving now as Head of Operations in MIP since 2019.
Özge Yılmaz Doğan, who received her Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Dokuz Eylul University and MBA from Bilgi University, worked in the field of Accounting and Finance between 2000-2006. She joined the PSA & Akfen joint venture in 2006 and assumed various responsibilities during the takeover of Mersin Port. While she worked as Accounting Manager for 12 years and as Procurement Manager for 3 years at MIP, she also led process improvement and digital transformation projects in the field of finance.
Following conducting several internal audit projects of PSA terminals for one year as Manager in the PSA Internal Audit Group, she was assigned as MIP Internal Audit and Risk Group Manager at the beginning of 2022. Özge Yılmaz Doğan holds a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) License and an Independent Audit License in the Capital Markets, and her Internal Audit License (CIA).
Erdem Aksoy is currently the Head of Project IT at MIP. A proud graduate of Budapest University of Technology and Economics, he is inspired to pursue a career in information technologies while studying software engineering in the university. Prior to his current position as the Head of Project IT, he was the IT Project, Compliance & Governance Manager in MIP. Before joining MIP, he worked in Hungary, Italy and Turkey on information technologies, information security and R&D management for leading companies in various sectors for over 20 years.
Erdem Aksoy holds CISA and CDPSE certifications issued by ISACA where he is also serving as a board member in ISACA Ankara Chapter. He is a lead auditor for various IT related management systems and an accredited trainer for ISO 20000:1 IT Service Management System. In his free time, he can be found camping and wine tasting. Erdem Aksoy is a trained wine expert and a member of Turkish Society of Wine Experts and Educators
He is a graduate of ITU Faculty of Civil Engineering (CE, MSc. Geotechnics) with over 40 years of experience in planning, risk management, team building, project schedule & budget management, employer-subcontractor management, and reporting. He is dynamic and results-oriented, having worked in the Gulf Region, North Africa, and Turkey. He has managed teams of suppliers and project managers who produced design, program, budget, and project management for multi-disciplinary works such as breakwaters, loading jetties, natural gas piers, dredging, construction materials, container terminals, tunnel construction, soil mechanics, and more. In 2019, he joined MIP for the East Med Hub 2 Project, managing the completion of official permits, design, tendering, execution of the East Med Hub 2 Project, and various other projects at MIP.
Savaş Çakmak started his maritime career as an oceangoing deck officer, eventually rising to the positions of second mate and oceangoing master. After seven years at sea, he joined the Ministry of Transportation in 2004. Over the next decade, he specialized in maritime transport, port management, ship inspection, and certification. His expertise led to his appointment as the Harbour Master of Mersin, a role he held until 2015.
In 2015, Savaş Çakmak transitioned to MIP as Marine Services Manager. Leveraging his extensive experience with governmental relations, he became an integral member of the Governmental Relations Committee. After nine successful years as Marine Services Manager, he was promoted to Head of Marine Services in April 2024, a position he currently holds.
Savaş Çakmak, who has a 27-year career in maritime services, has earned 24 professional qualification certificates throughout his career. He is also a certified IMDG Code Trainer and Cargo Transport Unit Code Trainer and has been providing basic IMDG Code and CTU Code trainings to MIP employees since 2018.
Bahadır Yılmaz, who graduated from Eskişehir Anadolu University, Department of Computer Engineering, has worked in various positions in different sectors in the field of information technologies since 2011. In 2015, Bahadır Yılmaz joined the MIP family and during this period, he worked in many different roles under the Group of Information Technologies Management and led important projects. Currently serving as Head of Information Technologies, Bahadır Yılmaz contributes significantly to MIP's digital journey and development of innovative solutions with his extensive experience and technological know-how in the sector.
