On 29 September 2022, 100 employees of the MIP collected more than 500 kilograms of waste during their coastal cleanup in Adanalıoğlu Beach. At the same time almost 200 MIP employees participated in a train-the-trainer program on how to raise environmental awareness. Both activities are part of the Blue Climate Ambassadors project organised in collaboration with the Turkish environmental NGO TURMEPA and the Turkish Port Operators Association TÜRKLİM. These activities are also part of ‘Go Green’ campaign to raise awareness of environmental issues.
