Özge Yılmaz Doğan, who received her Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Dokuz Eylul University and MBA from Bilgi University, worked in the field of Accounting and Finance between 2000-2006. She joined the PSA & Akfen joint venture in 2006 and assumed various responsibilities during the takeover of Mersin Port. While she worked as Accounting Manager for 12 years and as Procurement Manager for 3 years at MIP, she also led process improvement and digital transformation projects in the field of finance.
Following conducting several internal audit projects of PSA terminals for one year as Manager in the PSA Internal Audit Group, she was assigned as MIP Internal Audit and Risk Group Manager at the beginning of 2022. Özge Yılmaz Doğan holds a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) License and an Independent Audit License in the Capital Markets, and her Internal Audit License (CIA) process is ongoing.
Özlem Başlama graduated with a bachelor's degree in Economics from Dokuz Eylül University in 2008. She began her career as a Financial Auditor at one of the world’s leading Big Four independent audit firms. From 2010 to 2015, Özlem enhanced her industry knowledge and professional expertise through roles in financial budgeting and reporting at various international companies.
In 2015, Özlem joined Mersin International Port (MIP), where she started in the Internal Audit and Risk Management Department. In 2019, she also took on the newly created role of Compliance Officer, in addition to her ongoing internal audit and risk management responsibilities. Following 8 years of experience in the Internal Audit and Risk Management Department, Özlem was appointed as Compliance Manager with the establishment of the Compliance Department in 2023.
As a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Özlem has also completed the “Corporate Ethics and Compliance Management” certification program organized by TEİD (Ethics and Reputation Association), earning the title of “Corporate Ethics and Compliance Manager.” She is responsible for designing, implementing, and continuously improving compliance programs to strengthen the company’s ethics and compliance culture. With her extensive industry experience and high professional standards, Özlem makes strategic and significant contributions to MIP's compliance processes.
